BIOGRAPHY
Nando López Greco
Nando López Greco specializes in coaching, soft skills training, and language services. With over two decades of experience across three continents, he blends a set of diverse skills into a unique business model.
Born in Buenos Aires, he grew up bilingual, attending school in both English and Spanish. He began his career as a conference interpreter and translator, eventually expanding into business language training in Argentina, the United States, and Germany.
Working in the corporate world ignited his passion for understanding interpersonal dynamics, since exchanges with leaders and managers were often concerned with people’s interactions and their effect on performance and corporate culture.
This marked the beginning of the next phase of his career, leading him to earn credentials in executive coaching, agile processes, and psychometrics in London, Berlin, and San Diego. His recent years have been spent researching cognitive and social psychology.
Nando’s coaching approach, inspired by the FACTS model, tends to sit particularly well with executives and anyone who thrives on challenge. His background in languages allows him to pick up on nuances in discourse and gain insight into the stories behind clients’ statements.
His training workshops, grounded in academic research and enriched with storytelling, are known for their engaging and impactful nature. Attendees often praise his charismatic and approachable style.
The motto "empowerment through knowledge and empathy" reflects his world view: “Pretty much everything we do centers around people and is the product of our logical and emotional abilities,” he says.
Today, Nando’s work happens "where brain and heart meet," using scientific insights to enhance performance, interactions, and well-being. Clients describe him as a lighthearted nerd with a big heart, someone who combines expertise with genuine care and warmth.
Nando splits his time between Frankfurt and Berlin, home to the most important people in his life. Whether on business or leisure, he is often found working in cafés, exploring new cities, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with people from all walks of life.
TRAINING MODEL
Training for Autonomy and Self-Reliance
Nando’s training model provides a holistic learning framework that extends beyond individual workshops. Clients receive continuous support through every stage of the process, which is particularly helpful during the implementation phase.
Based on the principles of commitment and accountability, Nando collaborates with clients to ensure long-term learning—knowledge that does not fade and can be put into practice fully independently.
MY VALUES
Philosophy & Guiding Principles
-
By conducting assessment interviews and taking time to hold preparatory meetings, we determine your specific needs so I can tailor customized, quality solutions.
You receive support through every stage of the learning process. This goes beyond single interventions or training courses that simply "check the box" (see training cycle). Clients should be able to put what they learn into practice effectively and autonomously.
-
Nothing is more liberating than having the certainty that you can be vulnerable and authentic around others.
I make my clients feel safe from judgment and take pride in the very high level of psychological safety I offer.
-
Confidentiality is the bedrock of my business relationships. Everything an organization or an individual shares with me is treated with utmost respect and strict confidentiality. My deep ethical convictions are as strict as any non-disclosure agreement.
-
I am a rather direct person and a challenging trainer and coach. I am not afraid of addressing the "elephant in the room" or asking a tough question. That being said, challenging statements or questions require consent and are conveyed tactfully and respectfully.
-
I count the personal character of my business relationships among my greatest professional accomplishments. The people I work with are fellow human beings first and clients second.
It is possible to enjoy a professional working relationship while having close, friendly interactions that do not compromise quality or compliance.
-
Life is short, so humor should be taken seriously. :-) We can work very hard and be highly productive while still making room for lightheartedness and laughter.
